I love the speed in which this dries our clothes. It has a large capacity and is very quiet. I especially like the steam feature for my shirts & slacks. I would highly recommend this machine.

We purchase this dryer along with the companion washer and have been very pleased with it after 3 weeks of use. We purchased this unit since it did have the steam function but did not require a water hook up to use it. You only need to add water to the steam feeder when you want to use it. It has worked well for both light and heavy items and drying times adjust with the moisture sensor. It has lots of cycles that can be used but so far we have only required the normal and bulky settings. Besides you can view your drying clothes through the window and receive a musical tone when the cycle completes.

This was our third dryer since moving into a new house 3 weeks ago. We hope it will be our dryer for a long long time. We moved with a dryer that really didn't like being moved. The second one was an open box dryer that ended up being messed up and making a terrible noise. After a couple weeks of not being able to dry clothes, this dryer was amazing. It has a ton of useful settings. The steam settings are really cool, especially the steam sanitize setting. It is great for kids plush toys and stuffed animals. And it is very quiet and easy to use.

I bought this dryer for my daughter and she has 4 children and a husband and uses it all day long. It runs very quietly in the background and dries incredibly fast. It has a very large capacity so drying a huge blanket or a pet bed is a piece of cake. Also, the steamer feature is amazing. A few minutes in the dryer and your wrinkled items from the bottom of the basket you forgot to fold are fresh and look totally ironed. She loves,loves,loves this unit I bought the matching washer too.

I almost didn't want to buy a dryer, my dryer I have had for 22 years is still working, it is a little noisy and doesn't hold as many clothes, but my washing machine of the same age died. I bought the matching LG washer several months ago and wants to match. Also the washing machine washes too many clothes. This dryer is great. It holds a lot of clothes. It's so quiet you do not even hear it. The settings are easy and custom to what you need to dry. The clothes are dry when the cycle completes no need so far to run longer. Very pleased. Hope it lasts a long time.

Our purchase of the matched pair was a pre-emptive strike as the GE set we have had for 10 years was showing signs of major problems. We opted for a top loading washer this time becuase of the space we use for laundry and we did not like the nastyness of the front loader gaskets. We chose this particular LG due to the following reasons in order of importance 1) consumer feedback 2) capacity 3) features and 4) price.(we caught these on sale for a considerable discount). We are still getting used to all of the features and have not synched our smartphones to the set as of yet. We have tried different loads of degree of dirt/soil, 2) size and 3) type of materials. We have gotten nothing but excellent results. We are carefu to use He detergent and not use too much. The steam function on the washer has not been used yet. The steam function on the dryer has with so-so results. All in all we are very pleased with the set. This dryer holds a lot more than my standard size dryer I was using prior to this purchase. It takes less time to dry my laundry as well. So happy with this purchase!!! Also the steam option rack is a great accessory and a must have!!!

We got this dryer as an "Open Box". I believe it was still new as the factory tape was still on it. It was missing the shoe rack and has a small scratch on the door. The best part was this is a $999 dryer that was on sale for around $750 and we got this one for $525. What a deal! Before purchasing I researched dryers and a lot of different brands have very good rating so it came down to features vs price. This one won it hands down. The performance is excellent. We do not have a high efficiency washing machine so we do not have the advantage of less water in the clothing. This dryer dries our clothes in half the time of our old dryer. I tested it the first day and it is still continuing to perform at the same level. Less electricity being used and less wear on clothing as they do not have to be "baked" as long in order to dry (I believe this to be the larger drum allows the clothing to fall more freely and allows the hot air too circulate better). Some notes about the steam option for wrinkled clothes. LG uses a tank that you must fill instead of a direct water line. You will need to decide which works best for you. If your clothes are really wrinkled you will need to iron otherwise this works very well. Do not try to steam just one article of clothing or it will come out wet. You need to do 2-3 articles of clothing to prevent this. All in all a great dryer at a great deal and saves me money in the long run. The delivery team was excellent and even reversed the door for my wife. They were very friendly and professional. Great job!

This dryer is extremely easy to use and my clothes co e out perfect every time. I barely need to iron anything, it's great.

I love this dryer. I love how quickly and gently it dries my clothes - I love that it senses when the clothes are dry so that it doesn't keep drying when it's not necessary - I even love the happy little tune it plays to tell me my load is done. The steam feature is fantastic. This is the second of these dryers that I have owned - I had to give up my other one when I sold my home. I immediately went out and bought one just like it - it's just that good.

Purchased this as an open box item and have loved using it. Capacity is fantastic and the variety of drying cycles makes it easy to choose the best way to dry your clothes. I can't speak to the effectiveness of the steam drying as I haven't run into a situation that demands it, but judging by the success of dryer so far, I anticipate it to work well. Makes minimal noise in my basement and was a great addition to my home.

I really am happy with this dryer. I read many reviews before making the purchase and had read (Consumer Reports) that LG dryers perform very well. So for that reason my washer does not match but this still goes very well next to it. I appreciate the features and do find myself using the various ones actually. And most importantly, it dries my garments, towels, bedding etc. with no problem.

After our washer died, we needed to purchase a replacement quickly. This LG unit does not vibrate with bulky loads, and is very quiet. Even though it is ultra capacity, it fit easily into our small laundry room. We are very pleased with this purchase! The delivery people were prompt and very professional.

I bought this dryer and switched from a front loader dryer. The capacity of this dryer is amazing. I can fit my cal king down comforter in it and it actually dries it. It also has a function for work out clothes that works awesome. I love this dryer

So many things about this dryer are impressive. Changed from a gas dryer to this electric dryer and it dries clothes in 2/3rd the time; it's also real quiet. The clothes are not wrinkled even on the normal cotton cycle and it can nicely steam dry a queen sized down comforter.

i got this for my mom when her old lg she had died after only 3 years. She loves it. Only thing they don't tell you is the chimes when you use it can be annoying to some is to me but not my mom. it plays a little jingle when you turn it on and off. steam thing is great for polos and dress shirts. Would definitely recommend

My old washing machine broke down so I decided to go ahead and get a new washer and dryer set. Boy, I'm glad I did! I LOVE the steam function on this dryer, and my clothes are coming out looking great and requiring much less ironing! It also a very large capacity. I got the white model as it was a little less expensive, but it has some really nice looking trim, so it's not stark white.

So far I'm greatly impressed with this LG Dryer that I recently purchased. I love the great features and the use of Steam to clean. This is a very smart machine and is fun to program and use. I llike how it plays a nice melody to let you know when it is done. Dries clothes fast and efficiently.
