Yes, this dryer is heavy duty and the drum is huge. There are numerous setting for all different drying situations.

Ft. 14-Cycle Ultra-large-Capacity Steam Electric Dryer - White Model # DLEX5680W, the 7.3 cubic foot cubic foot capacity is huge and you definitely can dry heavy loads. Just keep in mind though that the drying capacity for a dryer is about a half that of the washer's load, but even then, heavy towels, bath mats etc., shouldn't be a problem with that kind of capacity!...
