Yes, there is an internal light that comes on, however, it does not stay on for a long period of time.

Please try again later.after a drying cycle the dryer chime rings several times and the interior light comes on, buy only stays on for about 60 seconds even if you are emptying the dryer. Ya, I wish the interior light would stay on a little longer. There may be a way to program the light to stay on longer. Light doesn't come on otherwise.
