There used to be CD players that were designed to be mounted upright on a wall that could play in that position. The LG 700W 2.1ch Mini Shelf System with Built-in Subwoofer and Bluetooth® Model # CM4550 is designed to be placed on a horizontal surface and has a fine tracking servo that maintains the centering of the laser beam on the track and then there is the coarse tracking servo that moves the entire optical pickup as needed to keep the tracking error within well defined limits. If the unit is not designed to compensate for being played at that angle, gravity may cause failures or marginal performance of any of these systems that can result in audio noise, skipping, sticking, or failure of seek and search operations which is what happened with the players mentioned earlier that were designed to be played in that upright position. Granted, 45° is not as severe an angle as 90°, but then again, the unit is not designed for that so there's a possibility of the above mentioned issues...^IFV
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It should work. I wouldn't tilt it much more than 45 degrees though as I don't see a mechanism for holding the CD in place while loading and unloading. No way to be sure without trying it unfortunately. Hope this helps, God Bless You.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This should play with no problem at an angle since the CD is flush
