I purchased this stereo 4 years ago and was amazed at the overwhelming power and clarity of it for being only $200. It connects to pretty much everything with multiple feature options so whether I’m listening to jazz, dance music or full-blasting the boom setting for a Star Wars marathon, I can adjust the sound to be best fit for my media choice. The subwoofer has some real kick to it and I recommend connecting your TV with a high powered aux cord rather than Bluetooth for optimal sound. However, Bluetooth works great with iPhone or Android. Kick it old school with this monster shelf stereo.

I bought this for music in my garage...Wow! Waaaay better than I could have imagined. My garage has been transformed into a giant boom box that my neighbors just love!!!...not really! But we do! Got it for $169... what a deal! Bluetooth Immediately connects to whatever device is there. Awesome!

Very impressed by the sound quality . Very crisp, clean. Quite impressed on the wattage, big sound for a low price. Fits nice on shelf. Doesn't move a inch off of shelf. Love all the functions from Cds written on computer. To Bluetooth

I purchased the LG 700W mini shelf system (in black) for my 15 year old son. My son had been looking and researching for a reasonably priced, quality set of speakers for some time. I was sceptical, as my son has blown out numerous speaker sets in the past. I decided to spend a little more money this time (but made my son pay for a portion of the price so he could learn the value of items and maybe he would take a little better care of this speaker set. So far this speaker set has held up to my sons music. The sound quality is great. Even when his door is closed our home still sounds like a dance club. If I had a complaint, the system is quite large and heavy for a "Mini Shelf Unit" as it is listed.

I love this stereo it is loud and got great bass I have owned it a yr now and it’s still thumping.

I love the fact that this speaker system has Bluetooth. Just have to mess with the settings a bit to get the bass I was looking for. Sound is crisp and LOUD!!!!!

This is a little larger than I expected. Easy set up, great sound. Bluetooth connection is effortless. I bought this to have something to connect my Audio Technica LP-60, and it surpassed my expectations, especially for the price!

Perfect for me, loud with a good quality of sound, loved the features.. it might be just Bluetooth but that works for me haha

It is very simple to assemble. But lacks in easy to use. No equalizer, just preset bass and treble settings. Sound is great though once you find one that works for you.

I strongly recommend this stereo! I love all the different functions

Bought this as a gift for my guy to replace his system that was stolen. A great surprise since he had NO idea what I'd purchased. It works great! He spent HOURS in the garage the next few days, just hanging out and listening to music. He's had it for a month now and he still uses it DAILY. (And loudly. :)) Loud enough to make the neighbors wonder what kind of party we're having outside in the garage - even with the doors shut. Bluetooth feature and being able to control (partially) volume on your phone is an AWESOME plus. No cords! And the bluetooth connectivity reaches a fairly significant distance from the unit. Haven't used the USB or CD yet - but bluetooth phone, ipod, and the radio all work great! Downfall is, as others have mentioned, the speaker wires are very thin and without some rewiring, adding additional speakers is not an easy task. The speaker wires aren't long enough to stretch the system very far apart....But... we think it's a great value for the money. If you doubt yourself, go to the nearest Best Buy store and listen for yourself.... that's what I did before I purchased. Compared to pricier units, this one has a lot of pluses and has given us hours of enjoyment already! (Just don't ask the neighbors for THEIR review...HAHA!)

This was a great deal on my stereo, great sounds for great party!
