Can hook up a cassette player to the LG 700W unit? null

Yes it does have an aux in with rca cables.

As to whether or not a cassette player can be connected to the LG 700W 2.1ch Mini Shelf System with Built-in Subwoofer and Bluetooth®, Model # CM4550 will depend on what outputs you have on your cassette player. The only Input that you might be able to use on the CM4550 is the Portable In which is a 3.5 mm port or what is commonly referred to as a headphone jack, but again, that will depend on what type of outputs you have on your cassette player...^IFV
