“This player frequently refuses to detect discs inside it. What can I do?”

• First make sure the disk is sitting properly in the tray. If it's still not working, try plugging in the other USB cable. I've found so far that the smaller cable doesn't find DVDs of any kind while the longer one usually has no problem detecting them.
