“I have installed the media suite onto my laptop, but any Blu-ray I try to play says that the data on the disc is corrupted. Wondering what steps can be taken to fix this problem.”

The bluray drive does the actual reading of the disc. Not the software. Clean your disc, make sure it isn't scratched. Calibrate your disc drive using a DVD first or another bluray disc you have on hand.
