“"Will this burn Blu-Ray discs?" seems like a straight forward question and has been asked several times with only confusing answers. Isn't it a yes or no question? Some responses from LG say it won't even play Blu Ray. Can I get a straight answer?”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The Problem with cd player/burners is the fact they all look similar, but most certainly have different abilities. It's kind of like people that you think are ordinary... and then you find out that they have some amazing talents in art or singing that blow you away. I purchased a usb cd player because my gaming computer didn't have one, and I guess I never thought about it when I bought the computer (there wasn't even a slot for one much to my surprise). Unfortunately I thought the cd player I purchased would play Blu-ray disks too, but when I stuck in a Blu-ray disks it wouldn't read it. Most disheartening! I probably picked up a box and saw it said it would read and burn Blu-ray, and then I might have seen one next to it for less and just assumed they did that too, when in fact they just looked alike in reality (I guess my cheapness got the best of me), so I went back and purchased one that said it played Blu-ray (they look almost identical), and that worked to watch my movies. If your wanting to burn disks then make sure the box says that it has that super ability, or you might take home another cd player that works better as a hockey puck, but at least you get to take your frustrations out on it :)
