“Can it record videos from LG TV usb connection? Does it only record digital output from LG TV? Is it as capable as a DVR with an LG TV regarding timer program recordings, watching one program while recording another, recording analog, etc. etc.?”

This disc drive is designed for use with a laptop or desktop computer. It is not a DVR for use with a TV. ^CP
