This item has a USB-A port. Not a micro. I'm not quite sure if adapters that convert USB-A to micro USB-C do exist or not. Also the software included is for Windows. Ask Best Buy Geek Squad by email, chat or phone to verify is there are adapters which may work or not with that item, and if a netbook is compatible with it. So there are two questions to verify. Better contact Best Buy Geek Squad if you are very interested.
