It says "stackable",but must it be stacked? null

No. You have to by the kit to stack it. But if you do not buy the kit, you can just place it side by side. They is how they installed mine for me and everything is wonderful. I got stackable so i could stack it one day if I moved.

No, l do not have mine stack. They are very large. I would not stack unless you absolutely have to.
