Wonderful dryer, it is very large capacity but still fits in the w/d space very well. I was hesitant at first to get a 9cu Ft. But it fit with no issues at all, I love the features of steam and being able to sanitize and prevent wrinkles.

I love my dryer. I got my dryer open box and it works perfectly. I love the way the steam makes your clothes feel without dryer sheets or fabric softener. I would definitely recommend this dryer if u can find it. It was a 2 month wait until i got this one. The large capacity is the best especially to accompany the 5.4 washing machine u will need a dryer this size. Get you one, you wont regret it. Oh, make sure u have enough room for it to fit in your wash area, it is large 30 inches. I also bought the pedestal which is hard to find as well. Lg has a great product. The AI is also amazing.

This dryer is amazing. It is very big on the inside and dries the clothes in no time. The washer and dryer both comes with a vent on the doors which releases the bad odor. Which is an amazing feature so the clothes always smell amazing.

We're LG people so LG was the only brand we considered for a washer/dryer set. This dryer is super efficient, excellent at removing dog hair (we have 3 labs), the internal LED light is a nice touch, the app is great for controlling the dryer and seeing how much time is left, and I absolutely love the steam function! I'm able to put shirts or pants in and they come out almost as if someone pressed them. Very good at removing wrinkles and refreshing something you want to wear. I was shocked how good my dress shirt came out. Overall, we're very happy with this dryer!

Dryer is spacious and dries amazing. No complaints about the dryer, but the washer that is a whole other story. Returned the set the next day.

This is our first front loader set but the capacity, 9.0 cubic feet means a lot when it comes to doing linens or comforters. So far it’s all good. We opted to use the side vent so we could tuck them in better and can service the vent without a lot of effort. Wish it came with a drying rack and am having trouble locating the part to order. Built them up so we don’t have to bend over so far.

Purchased the this dryer and it’s better than expected. The steam feature is icing on the cake! The drum is huge so you will not have to worry about packing too many clothes inside. Interface and wifi is very intuitive.

In July 2024, I purchased a full set of appliances for my new home from Best Buy: Refrigerator Washing Machine Dryer — the largest and most essential item in the set. Model: LG - 9.0 Cu. Ft. Stackable Smart Electric Dryer with Steam and Built-In Intelligence – Black Steel Model Number: DLEX8900B SKU: 6492270 After only a short period of use, the dryer began displaying the D80 error code — which means the airflow is restricted, usually due to lint or improper venting. As a result, the machine does not dry clothes properly and may be at risk of failure over time. I contacted Geek Squad, which I purchased a 2-year protection plan from. They advised me to reach out to LG since the unit was still under the manufacturer’s 1-year warranty. LG then requested photos of the installation and informed me that the issue came from an installation error. When I returned to Best Buy for support — since the installation was done by them — I was told the installation warranty had already expired and that I should continue dealing with LG. This has created a frustrating cycle: I followed the right steps, purchased the right coverage, and trusted Best Buy for both product and service. Yet here I am, with a premium dryer that’s not working as it should — and no clear path to resolution. I’m not posting this review out of spite — I’m posting it because I still hope someone at Best Buy will read it and take ownership of the situation. The product is beautiful and high-end, but if installation errors go unresolved and protection plans offer no practical support, the value of the investment is lost. I’ve always trusted Best Buy and want to continue doing so. I hope this review serves as a signal to your team to help make things right — not just for me, but for any customer who’s caught in a similar loop.

this lg dryer is perfect for large loads, and to control with wifi

Overall, it is a decent machine, but I was disappointed with the build quality. There are many cheap plastics, and the door locking mechanism feels flimsy when you shut and open it. I expected something more solid for this price. No complaints as far as the quality of the drying, and the App interface is nice.

It constantly announces it's finished after only running 5-10 minutes even when I've selected "very" dry. It's absolutely infuriating and I hate that it's too late to exchange it.

I love Lg products because they are extremely efficient. Drieds clothes quickly and thoroughly. I put a king size comforter and sheet in it and it dried it completely without having to add more time...it took up a little more space than I expected but it is worth it becsuse of its performance. Also, it is super quiet which is definitely a plus.
