• No it does not. I had to resort to rags and spray cleaner.

• I have 2 huskies and 2 cats and it gets ALL of it. It picks up fine dust from carpet very well. I'd compare this vacuums performance to a dyson. It has a sealed system, too. So if you have allergies or asthma, it has a really good filtration system.
