We put in DVD to watch movie and it is grainy and black and white. Out in another DVD and same thing. Do we need to do something? null

If the unit is playing in black and white, it would mean it is connected incorrectly. Please be sure you are connecting the unit from composite (white, red and yellow) to composite and not composite to component (red, blue, and green).
