How much clearance is there between the bottom of the drawer (that rolls out) and the ground? Do you think a drip pan would fit underneath it and still allow it to open fully? Or would it have to be raised up slightly? null

Hi, David

The technician who installed my pedestal washer told me that he had couple of customers who wanted to install the pedestal washer upstairs with carpet floor. The dripping pan must used and then the pedestal washer will not fit! I 'm not quite sure if the pedestal washer and drawer is the same. But my guess is almost identical. So be careful and make research and then make decision. Good Luck!

I doubt it would work. Our's sits about an inch above the ground, with the leveling feet up reasonably high. I have read in a couple places that it is not recommended for upstairs laundry use and I suspect this is why. If you can get it to work, you will love it!
