Yep. Same thing happened to me while we were away from home. Came home 2 hours later to a flooded house because the "Water Inlet Valve" malfunctioned. Known issue on many LG Washing machines. Damage was in excess of $10k to my home. If you are going to keep this machine I would highly recommend "baby sitting" it to make sure each cycle complete as they should to prevent any damage to your home. We have a life to live and will not sit home to "baby sit" a washing machine so we opted for a non-LG machine. Hope this helps...
