• Yes you can it's called TV connectivity make sure it say's that in any device in order to work with your tv but it also depends on your tv and what model is it. it's just compatibility issues that the tv may have depending who made it and what year it was made in.

• I couldn't. You have to purchase and download a separate program in order for it to play DVDs. It is a write by name. Got lucky that it plays the game I have.
