“Can you record a TV show”

• you can record a tv show but not with just the disc drive, for me i downloaded an app off of recommendations on the internet and looked up how to record using this app and it worked however you do need to have your disc in your disc drive obviously it does not matter if it is a plug-in disc drive or not

• No. This can only be used for watching dvd's or burned disk on your computer or TV

• In response to your query - you can't directly record a TV show onto a DVD. You would need to convert the TV signal to a digital signal, and then record that signal to a format that you would then burn to the DVD.
