Unsure what this question is specifically asking, but in regards to the PS5 currently Sony does not support 1440p and only supports either 4k or 1080p. So if you were to get this monitor it would be 4k 60hz or 1080p 120 hz (which is the maximum for PS5) for certain games such as Black Ops Cold War. I don't really understand too much why the PS5 doesn't support 1440p when the Xbox series X/S does.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it does exactly what you are asking. It can accept a 4k60 signal and downsample it to 1440p. I am not sure about VRR in that case though.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This monitor offers a maximum resolution 2560 x 1440 @ 144Hz (HDMI/DP). This monitor does not have HDMI 2.1 and will not support 4K@120Hz. ^Daphane
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I’m running my PS5 on ithis monitor at 120/1080. I can run 1440 but have not bothered to. The HDMI2.1 is the only way to get 4K and is not really a thing worth having IMO for FPS at the moment. Something to be aware of 120 is only used and supported by certain games. The rest of the games PS5/PS4 games will run at a default 60. It is also something that needs to be changed in the settings and can only be recognized while the app that supports 120 is running.
