I own an ASUS IPS and another LG IPS 4K panel and this panel blows them out the water. Colors are the best I’ve ever seen and the response time set to FAST is very snappy and responsive. I wouldn’t recommend the FASTEST response time since it introduces some ghosting and overshoot. However, there might be some games out there where it would be beneficial. I mostly play FPS. Build quality and the stand are what you would expect from LG. If you are looking for an IPS for gaming, this is it! Honestly stunned coming from an LG 4K IPS panel as a daily driver and for gaming! Also Xbox one X looks fantastic on the 1440p setting on this monitor. I haven't used the Aorus 27’, but I imagine this is its direct competition. This panel is G-sync compatible and no issues thus far! HDR is good in my opinion, but I can only compare to another HDR10 panel. I don’t think this panel meets the HDR400 spec, but I think it’s good enough for gaming.

Went back and fourth on a few different monitors, after careful review and checking out multiple sites on this particular model i chose to go with this one. so far very good blacks and grey uniformity and display everything i put on it perfectly. From Gaming to Video editing this thing handles anything you throw at it without any issues. Its a must grab if you have the budget and all honestly it out performs that i tired in a higher price point. I can't really find any cons to right down for people to read. monitor does have a external power brick which for most that's a con to me it doesn't bother me at all. The monitor comes with all the cables to get you started, i had to order my own display port cable because of length issues but other then that i have everything I need. The monitor stand is nice and sturdy, it has red lining on the flair of the legs some don't like the color, but for me its fine since my favor color is red. The monitor is well build and strong it also comes with a clip for the cable on the back of the monitor stand to hold cable and a little cable management. Conclusion this thing is a beast i give it a 9/10 when i factor everything in. Thank you for taking the time to read this review. hope this helps with your purchase.

This is my first 1440p monitor and I LOVE it! It's a open box special that came in the original box and looked perfect. I wouldn't have known it was open box if the site hadn't said so. Huge discount for that, plus cash back points on my credit card got me $150 off retail price! I of course paid off the credit card before it was due, so no interest. But, you're not here to read about that. You're here to read about the monitor. Let me say this...if it dies, I'll buy another one just like it. The resolution settings "Gamer, Gamer2, Vivid, etc.) are very useful. Sometimes, you'll want a different setting when you're gaming than if you're streaming Amazon Prime Video, for example. If you do a lot of reading at your PC in an online course for example, this monitor has you covered. It has a second HDMI port which comes in handy if you want hook a second device such as a laptop, tablet, or gaming console to it. If you want to be a Twitch streamer, be sure to get 2 of these monitors, but maybe smaller. You can't go wrong. The display is beautiful and it has a 144mhz refresh rate. I'm running a GTX 1070 (best I could find during the chip shortage) with a Ryzen 3900x CPU and haven't seen any tearing during gaming. Just be patient and look for a discount so you're not paying retail price if you have time to wait. Just a side note, you're probably wondering about my desktop in the pictures. I'm running a modified version of Windows 10. I don't like the plain, bland Windows 10 Start button, so I changed it back to the Windows 7 style. :)

G-Sync compatibility Freesync 144hz IPS 1440p HDR (Do not use but its there...) Yeah good luck finding a monitor this good sub 500. I play a lot of WOW (US 50) raider... Like that matters... but anyways I play a lot of wow. And while I love my ultrawide... that much space is just distracting and can cause actual mistakes and poor performance due to too much space for your eyes to keep track of. While it is great in other games in WOW just not so much. Plus I enjoy recording myself and it is much easier to do so in a 1440p monitor then in a 1440p ultrawide. My other thing is that I like the space the ultrawide gives for things outside of the game I am playing. I have the screen broken into three zones using DisplayFusion. One side for discord, the other for messages and spotify while the middle is for whatever page I want to focus on the most. Usually some YouTube video and so on. This monitor fit on my setup beautifully and I am happy for many months, years to come.

NanoIPS, QHD, Gsync, HDR, 144hz, 1m/s, stand that can rotate, amazing build quality, great aesthetics like come on, why are you making me buy a second one???? In conclusion, Yes, I will buy another one.

Wonderful monitor! I love the picture quality on it and the size is perfect for gaming.

I searched for several weeks looking for just the right 1440p IPS monitor at 144hz, and kept coming back to this on. The picture is superb and the colors are amazing. Like most IPS monitors there is a very slight backlight bleed on the bottom left corner but it is very minimal and isn’t noticeable once the screen is being used. I have it paired with a 2070 super graphics card and get 115 FPS on 1440p on high settings while playing Warzone.

Like my summary says I had my doubts at first but I went from a basic 75HZ dell monitor to this and Omg it was worth it I play my games so good and the graphics look way better than before totally worth it for the price in my opinion.

I did alot of research. I wanted a HDR, Gsync, 144mhz hi- res monitor. This was easy setup great looks pivots smooth. I down loaded the LG software to tweak settings as needed. Not disappointed one bit on my purchase. With HDR enabled in windows and games that allows it , the colors are awesome.

Works great, G-Sync is a plus, and 144hz at 1440p works great with my 3090, just keeps me wanting more. Do plan on going with the 4k version of this monitor on it's next refresh in 23. As for downside's I'd say the light bleed is a little excessive in dark scenes. But otherwise response is great, much better than the equivalent Asus monitor I tried before it, had too much ghosting.

Its a pretty nice monitor. I don't know too much about monitor's, but so far with my build (I had a PC wizard setup my build), the monitor has been fantastic. Gaming is reallyyyyy nice in FPS's and I am able to get really nice quality graphics from games on max setting without any quality issues at all. Also it rotates VERY nicely. I would show pictures but my phone is not good at taking pics of a screen, but I can add in game screenshots from Destiny 2.

Im like WOW! What honey do the yard work just a moment im stuck on gsme and can't find the save area. Seriously I do my priorities outside away from this monitor. Overall, while it's a dream LG is a way to go and buy it through Best buy and get the geek squad protection plan cuz it will pay off in time. Rock on Best Buy!!!

I purchased one of these through LG. Then two more through Best Buy. Unfortunately, one of the last pair has a whole vertical line of stuck pixels (a turquoise line). Under normal circumstances, I would just return for a replacement. The catch is, this monitor is almost always out of stock. Two monitors does me no good whatsoever, so not only am I down one, I'm down two - for an indefinite period of time. Otherwise, I am mostly happy with the monitors. Yes, backlight bleed is greater than it should be. Doesn't matter for my situation though.

Works great and looks great. Its definitey not actual g sync (not sure why it has the sticker) but it setting up its g sync compatibility with the nvidia menu is easy and definitely better than not having it. I HAD to have ips so i spent the extra money for this and i regret nothing. Recommended. Just wish it was actual nvidia g sync not just compatible. 0 dead pixels out of the box and a great looking desk stand im not even using.

It’s pricey but worth it.Beautiful design and works great. No tears during game play even when on highest settings. I like the accessibility to the hdmi ports so I can use it with my ps5 as well. It’s perfect for both my pc and gaming consoles.

Best Monitor i have EVER OWNED. That being said. If you in the market for a ultra fast monitor with punchy colors. Look nowhere else and snag one before they sell out again.

Work great with my GeForce RTX 2080Ti, I didn’t notice anything wrong just use default settings.

After installing the display cable, I can see the sheer cleanness of the 144-hertz monitor. I recommend 100%.

Very Vibrant Monitor. No RGB which is fine with me. But for $500 you'd think it would have some more features. There really isn't any bleeding yet. Which is good. But other than that. Amazing monitor.
