Had high expectations of this 499.99 monitor. Sadly there was light bleeding on dark scenes. Top left, small areas along top horizontal edge, bottom left corner and minor areas along bottom horizontal edge. Sound quality out of headphone jack was terrible through 2.1 klipsch. Wish manufacturer provided mini dp to full size dp cable just like they did the full sized hdmi cable, and usb 3.? To usb-B 3.?. Loved the menu button function below center of bottom bezel that you can turn on red led or leave it off. Visuals were stunning. I returned it and got another dell gaming monitor on sale at Best Buy. There was no damage to box. Well packaged so no explanation on light bleeding usually to flawed frame.

Unfortunately, the monitor has not lasted. Now, the entire right half of the monitor now has flashing red, green, and blue pixels which randomly move about the screen rapidly, even when no input device is connected. It appears that for the price, you do indeed pay a premium in quality. While hard to capture in a photo, ive included my best attempt at capturing the effect. Unfortunately as its outside the return window, i dont believe there is much further I can do.

After trying to find a 144hz monitor and IPS panel, it started to become obvious that either they were too expensive or way too gamer aesthetic for my liking. I had been waiting on this monitor since it was announced and it hit just about all my expectations. The color on it with a little bit of calibrating is amazing as expected from LG with an IPS panel. Bezels are minimal and the stand can be easily adjusted and has a subtle red accent behind it making it a little bit unique but still professional looking. The refresh rate on this monitor makes everything incredibly smooth and refresh rate is pretty solid. I will say that the response time can be 1ms if you don't mind bad ghosting blur on moving images but this happens when you set it to the fastest setting. IPS and 1ms is just too good to be true right now but it personally doesn't bother me when set to 4ms which it will come out of the box set as such. In terms of build quality, in the day of owning this I have yet to see any dead pixels. The bezel and stand remain free of any marks or scratches from manufacturing. The only complaints I've seen so far is that most sites are sold out. This monitor was hyped up prior to release so this isn't too much of a surprise. Overall, if I could get another one of these for a dual monitor set up I would and personally can't imagine going back to my old 60hz monitor.

I was upgrading from a 24” 1080p panel, and had really been looking at the LG. I have had TN, IPS, and VA panels before, my last one being VA. I checked out all the reviews and content relaying the new LG, so I was aware that black light bleed was possible since it’s an IPS. After a few days use, the color was bright, vivid and amazing, making everything pop. However, mine had backlight bleed in the bottom left corner. This was not bad for basic use, but gaming was very distracting. I tried playing Resident Evil 7, and the backlight bleed during beginning part in the dark house was unbearable. The low contrast (again IPS) also took away much of the details and I couldn’t justify keeping the monitor knowing the backlight bleed was present and the contrast was low. Since I’m used to VA, I’ll be going back to it since I’m a casual gamer and I love VA because of the contrast. This is a great monitor, and check it out depending on your requirements. Unfortunately I had to return mine.

This screen doesnt have all the bells and whistles but it definitely is the best performance IPS panel out there on the market! Beautiful colors, smooth gameplay, and perfect for gaming and some light photoediting which can be pushed if you have a color calibrator. Definitely worth the money!

I bought this monitor to upgrade from my MSI Optix G27C2 27 Inch 1ms 144Hz Full HD Curved Gaming Monitor. It is the same size but way out of the older MSI's league. The colors are far superior and the brightness is impressive compared to my (now used as a secondary) MSI. Yes it's 2K vs. 1080P and that makes a difference. I lost some frames in games but am hoping to get them back once a 3080 is available. The older monitor looks greyed out in comparison. So when I say upgrade, it's really true. The LG was quite a bit more expensive than one but I got a good deal during my birthday from Best Buy. It allowed me to get the 27GL850, rather than the 83A or an even lesser monitor. All were difficult enough to find in stock. It seems like Best Buy has been getting a lot more of my upgrade purchases for the past couple years, they've earned them though every time!

I researched a long time to find the perfect monitor for my preference. I do gaming/ movies/documents and this monitor ended up being the perfect monitor for me! it took a lot of patience for me to wait for the monitor to be available. But it did come at a cost...The first monitor I received worked great at first but soon after the monitor would not turn on. And when it did, i had a green line on the right side of my screen. I tried multiple cables, each time I switched it. It worked then stopped working. Finally, I went to return it and asked Best Buy associate if they can order a new one instead of me waiting for the item to be available. Once I finally received a monitor that worked consistently. I have been more than satisfied with the monitor. The only thing missing is that it does not have G-Sync. Yes, it's G-Sync compatible but you have to have the right GPU for it to be enabled. Overall the picture is amazing! the colors nice and bright! I don't seen any signs of ghosting when playing PC video games. I connected my base PS4 and looks almost as good as a 4K HDTV. I've never been a fan of HDR for computer. I can't really say much about it. When playing a game on the PS4 that is HDR capable. The PS4 does recognizes it and allows me to adjust the brightness/colors. Back light bleed. I can see during black screen but to me it's not noticeable when gaming. I would more than recommend this monitor. IPS, 144hz, G-Sync compatible. It's a great buy for any gamer.

Great for gaming, I use it with my PC, and PS4 pro. This monitor accepts the 4k signal (via HDMI 2.0) from PS4 pro and looks excellent. Colors look bright and vibrant compared to a TN panel. Handles motion great as well. I recommend the fast setting for 144 hz and normal setting for 60 hz. Fastest introduces ghosting so I do not recommend that setting.

I really like this monitor. I use it for gaming and other stuff. I use it with my computer computer running a RX 5700xt and a Ryzen 3600x and it does pretty well. On high setting it runs Far Cry 5 smoothly (stays above 60fps), if I max out the setting though it does stutter more so keep that in mind. This is the first monitor I've used thats either above 1080 or above 75 refresh rate per second, and I REALLY like it. I don't think I could go back at this point. 1080p just feels so cramped compared to this. I'm probably going to get a second one to use as a second monitor for my setup.

Just Amazing! I had originally a HP 1080p 60Hz IPS monitor but upgrading to the LG 2560×1440, 144Hz, Nano IPS is night and day! Picture quality, colors, motion, and response time is just insane. And it definitely is GSynch Compatible out if the box! I would also like to mention that I previously purchased the Dell S2716DGR with the same specs but it is a TN panel with the actual GSynch module but returned it due the LG having way better picture and colors. This is a must buy for anyone looking to upgrade or first time buyer for gaming, photo editing, streaming, and general viewing. Thank you LG!

The 1ms branding is gimmick at most but other than that, this monitor is the best 1140- 144hz out there. I have tried several monitors in this category and I can without a doubt say this is the only one in the price category that performs. Honorable mention goes to the Gigabyte Aorus AD27QD. Both these monitors handle the downscale/upscale of the ps4 pro easily. The picture is flawless. This is a must also if you are a FPS gamer. The response time is TN panel like.
