Poor contrast and black levels but that’s expected as IPS panels are really weak in this category. Over some good testing it’s about as responsive and clear as TN panels but the colors can really punch with the Nano cell layer added in. Likely one of the best monitors right now for some competitive gaming and have some decent picture quality.

The monitor is perfect for gaming. The color is perfect. I purchased a TN panel gaming monitor before this one. Even people say that monitor has the best color in TN panel gaming monitor, but the difference between TN and IPS is huge, compared with my 4K IPS monitor at home. Then I switch to this gaming monitor. The display is so perfect. I can play FPS game with frame rate above 100 Hz not 60 Hz anymore. I love it!

These are really nice displays. I use them for gaming and photo editing, among other content creation work. While I'd rather an Adobe RGB gamut, to be able to finally get a quality profileable wide gamut display with good responsiveness like this has been a dream for so many years. No longer am I stuck at 60Hz, although now I need a better GPU! The stand is very basic, but solid. I'm using two of these on a VESA mount and their light weight makes them compatible with a broad range of mounts. The overall profile and look of these is nice, with just the screenprinted LG logo on the front. If there's one complaint with these, it's the contrast ratio. They are better than many older IPS panels but there are certainly IPS options available today with better static contrast ratios. That said the difference between good and bad IPS contrast ratios tends to be fairly minimal: they're still better than TN and worse than VA. As expected for IPS there's moderate backlight blooming but it's not bad. I also have been fortunate to get three* displays with no major backlight bleed issues and no stuck or dead pixels. *why three? One of the displays I initially got would reset to default settings whenever it lost power. If you never adjust hte color and brightness you'd never know, but especially since I've got the monitors adjusted based on the calibration routine run by my Xrite i1 Display Pro, I had to have it replaced by Best Buy.

Very decent monitor for the price that can't be beaten. I had a 6-7-year-old standard office dell 1080p monitor that worked for a while until I got a beast of a GPU so I wanted to do 1440p so my games and everything would look nicer.

A very good monitor, gives you that 240fps in cod and everything feels so smooth. Just super bummed to have dropped it and broke the screen . Debating weather i should get another one or not. Ive had mine for over 3 years and its done the job very good. Highly recommend it

Perfect screen for my ps5. Colors are vibrant and response time is quick. Love the option to have 120hz. Definitely worth the price if your getting the next gen systems.

I got this unit used. But it's been great. Color is excellent. HDR is meh, but not really what I got this unit for. If you want a good HDR monitor, look elsewhere. But HDR aside, the color accuracy is really good for a gaming monitor. Refresh rate and response times are excellent.

Love this monitor! Gaming has never looked so smooth. Love it has HDR and 144 hz @ 1440p. Also love native G-SYNC support. There was a 2020 model released after I ordered this one but that one got rid of the USB hub and I find the hub quite useful for my desk situation.

Very good monitor. Description says it is only FreeSync but actually this is also G-Sync compatible. One of the best monitors out there at 144 Hz / 27" / G-Sync. It was very nice colors and a very good picture. Highly recommended.

My nefew loves this monitor. He mainly uses it for gaming and he says it performs well. He really likes the size and is also impressed with the performance. I also got the geek squad protection. we all happy

Great so far. Coming from a 1080p monitor the image is amazing. Colors really look good on this screen compared to my old monitor. Has all the features you would want for a gaming monitor. I have had no issues with gsync.

I got this monitor based off feedback I was getting from friends of mine. I mainly play FPS games and so far it has honestly and truly exceeded my expectations. Going from a 55inch tv to a 27 inch gaming monitor was a bit of an adjustment but I am happy that I purchased this. The graphics are fantastic, the response time is amazing, and it’s definitely made me a better player. I would recommend this to anyone looking to get a gaming monitor. You will not be disappointed.

Before this monitor, it was usually "pick 2 of 5": FreeSync2, IPS, 144Hz, HDR, requires selling a kidney. Have you ever heard of people pre-ordering a monitor? Well, it happened with this one. And it was worth it.

I was using a 1080p 144hz TN panel (not G-Sync) for a long time. This monitor blows it away considering the sharpness, colors, and viewing angles. Bonus points for including vesa mount screws. OSD is not too difficult to navigate. This monitor is awesome obviously for gaming and I would highly recommend it to anyone with a GPU capable of delivering the framerates necessary for 144hz. This is my first IPS montior though so I don't really have anything to compare it to personally. But I did a fair amount of research and it seemed like this particular panel was the best of both worlds (high refresh rate and colors).

Amazing monitor for 1440p gaming and content consumption. If you're upgrading from 1080p 60hz, this will be a BIG step up. Using DisplayPort, the 144hz refresh rate is great for gaming and makes web-browsing very smooth. You can also change monitor settings on-the-fly with a little joystick underneath the monitor. Picture quality is great and can't go wrong with an IPS panel. One thing to keep in mind though so the stand takes up a significant amount of space. If you're planning to mount this on an arm with space behind your desk, you'll be fine. Otherwise, this monitor plus the stand will eat up under a foot of desk space so plan accordingly.

Colors are great and don't notice input lag at all. Monitor can be a big slow on the start up but that's not really an issue. Biggest issue with the monitor is that it doesn't swivel side-to-side which makes it a bit difficult to plug in wires but that's my main gripe. Built-in speakers would be nice but not necessary.

This monitor is exceptional for the price point. The product justifies the price point. The gaming experience is good. I use it for both gaming and work.

Best monitor I've owned, looks great and feels great to game on. The 144hz is awesome, but make sure you got the pc to run at least older games in high frame rates in 1440p.
