- Answer It doesn’t have a physical G-sync module, but the FreeSync on it is officially supported by G-sync so you can use it with G-sync.

- Answer No, this monitor is not a G-Sync Ultimate monitor. G-Sync Ultimate displays are certified for ultra-low latency, multi-zone backlights, DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, 1,000 nits max brightness with HDR video or games and to run at its highest refresh rate at its max resolution due to an "advanced" Nvidia G-sync processor, so if you do not want to have to pick between G-Sync and HDR, a G-Sync Ultimate monitor is necessary. ^CP

QuestionFreeSync over HDMI? Want to use Xbox One X on this at 2K 120hz w/ adaptive freesync

- Answer I was able to set the Xbox One X to 1440p & 120hz with this monitor, but you must first turn off adaptive sync in the monitors settings. Otherwise it will change one of the settings back to 1080p or 60hz.

- Answer The 27GL850 is compatible with mounts that use the VESA pattern 100 x 100 mm. If your mount has this pattern, it should be compatible. ^CP

- Answer Hi Alex, the LG 27GL850 has an excellent 4ms GTG average in Default mode (no inverse ghosting), the best IPS performance on the market. The amazing clarity and quick response time shows when I play Rocket League at 144Hz. See the screenshot for comparison to other 144Hz contenders. I would also recommend the cheaper LG 27GN850 if you don't need a USB hub, as it uses the same panel as this one.

- Answer HDR stands for High Dynamic Range, a color technology that enables a monitor to display a broader spectrum of colors and contrasts. Basically, this means that an HDR monitor more realistically displays nuances and color tones, and shows more detail when it comes to light and dark. - Answer Recent reviews, advises not to use the 'Faster' setting on the monitor which uses the 1ms response time because gameplay looks pretty bad (overshooting of image). Still recommended at 'Fast' setting which enables 4ms response time and you still enjoy the great colors and accuracy plus IPS.

- Answer Unsure what this question is specifically asking, but in regards to the PS5 currently Sony does not support 1440p and only supports either 4k or 1080p. So if you were to get this monitor it would be 4k 60hz or 1080p 120 hz (which is the maximum for PS5) for certain games such as Black Ops Cold War. I don't really understand too much why the PS5 doesn't support 1440p when the Xbox series X/S does.

QuestionI am trying to change my refresh rate to 144hz but when i got to change is in my graphic settings it will only allow up to 60h hz. When i changes the resolution to 1080p it went from 75hs. I am connecting with a laptop to it with HDMI it should at 100hz

- Answer You're more than likely using a port that's part of your cpu's graphics. It should work if you plug it into a usb-c port with an adapter. Which laptop are you using?

- Answer The LG 27GL850 27'' UltraGear™ Nano IPS 1ms Gaming Monitor with G-Sync® Compatibility has a refresh rate of 144 Hz but it will also support 2560 x 1440 @ 100 Hz (HDMI) 1080p @ 120Hz and other resolutions at other refresh rates. You would need to change the supported refresh rate in the Display Settings for your connected PC/Laptop's GPU settings...^IFV
