Recent reviews, advises not to use the 'Faster' setting on the monitor which uses the 1ms response time because gameplay looks pretty bad (overshooting of image). Still recommended at 'Fast' setting which enables 4ms response time and you still enjoy the great colors and accuracy plus IPS.

Please try again later.the catch is there is a lot of miss leading information on this monitor, 1 ms response time" is generally *still* a lie.because the screen looks so bad in that mode that nobody will use it. The contrast ratio is worse than average even for an IPS display. This monitor can't display deep blacks, and this is especially noticeable in a dark room. i played the Resident Evil 2 Remake and it looked like a grey mess. they also claim HDR, But This model doesn’t even meet the lowly HDR400 level requirement. with no note of any local dimming support, so HDR is pretty bad also they said it would have Gsync then deleted what they said from their website and put a Gsync Sticker on the monitor to trick people into thinking it has built in Gsync when in fact it is just Gsync compatible.

From shopping around, ASUS and Acer's high refresh rate/IPS/1440p monitors from a few years ago can now be found for close to $500 on sale, but offer 3 years of warranty. MSI's gaming monitors that I've seen come in at 2 years. While this monitor may very well be the best of its kind once it's released, it lacks that "peace of mind" factor for me with such a short warranty.
