I believe your speaking about watching a movie and it having the black bars on the top and bottom of the screen. Unfortunately it’s not your Xbox s that is causing this it is the the way the movie was filmed. Your tv is 16:9 (1.78) aspect ratio but most movies are not filmed at that size. Showing it in full screen will cause you to lose parts of your picture on left and right. Movies are shot in either 1.85 or 2.35 aspect ratio Type format which is why you have the black bars. I can tell you if you buy the planet earth 2 4k Blu-ray set it will play in full screen on your 4k tv and looks amazing if your into a discovery channel type of tv show. If it bothers you that much change your tv setting to ZOOM and it will fill the screen but you’ll be cutting off most of the picture missing half the movie.
