• You would connect your Roku directly to your TV. Or you can get a chrome cast and connect that directly to your TV. All this does is play Blu-ray discs on you TV.

• I have wifi and apps on mine. connects to wifi better than my tv, and handles youtube just fine, although the controls on the remote could be laid out better.
