• This particular model let's you play Ultra HD Blu-ray , 3D Blu-ray , DVD Video it will play whatever movie you want to watch but your TV needs to be compatible with the movie your watching. Pretty much if you want to watch a non 3D movie on your 4k TV this DVD player will play it

• it means it plays 3d and non 3d .... to play 3d you just need tv that has 3d and 3d disc.
