• No. You have to configure it in 2.4. Then you can switch back to your 5G and control them. Makes absolutely no sense to me.

• No. They only connect to a 2.4Ghz band. After initial setup, you can use a 5Ghz band to control it, though.

• No this bulb doesn't connect to a 5G network. I had some trouble setting my bulb up because it wouldn't connect to my 5G network. Luckily, though my router creates two networks, one with 2.4G and one with 5G, so I was able to connect the bulb with the 2.4G network.
