• It should work fine, but turning it off via touch will mean turning it back on that way. It also may cause issues with keeping brightness settings, or color settings. It would be basically the same as a regular lamp with a hard switch.

• It should... but you wouldn't want to use the touch controls much as it defeats most of the reason of a smart bulb and controlling it through the app... cant turn it on if the lamp turned it off.
