Please be accurate if you are going to post answers to potential buyers. There is a big difference between meters and feet. This kit most certainly does NOT provide 9.9 meters of lighting, as several posters suggest.

It is a complete kit except it has three strips instead of two.

They are the same except if you buy this one at BestBuy (the 9.8 foot version) it has 3 strips instead of 2. Definitely worth the extra few dollars to get an extra strip.

Not sure, but it appears there are several variations depending on the number (1, 2 or 3) of the 1-meter LED light strips are included. Additional light strips can be added and they're available as extensions. Heads-up: the non-lighted cable extensions (to connect one LED strips to another with unlighted space between), and the angled connectors (to connect one LED strip to another at a right angle), while mentioned in the user manual, appear to be no longer available. Connecting one LED strip to another in a linear configuration is not a problem - no additional connector is required.

The Starter Kit on the Lifx page is actually shorter than this special pack they make for Best Buy. I had messaged the company when I was trying to figure out what to purchase. We have an Alexa at home already, so we don't need a hub or anything else for everything to work. It didn't make sense to me, but that's what they sell so we went with the better value at Best Buy.

This kit comes with one extra light strip (1m/3.3ft length), giving the total distance for the Experience Kit to 3m/9.9ft. This kit is also HomeKit compatible.

The starter kit that is posted on the LIFX website is only 6.6meters. This one that is being sold by BestBuy is actually 9.9M long. You will be getting one extra strip, so 3 strips in total. With the starter kit on LIFX you're getting 2 strips.
