Easy to install, and app was easy.... view looks awesome..... Give plenty of light and should be awesome with movies.... Alittle pricey but still seems to be worth it.... My daughter-in-law purchased this 2 months ago and loves hers, so I decided to try it......

My entire home is filled with LIFX and Philips Hue products. The LIFX Z is the first of its kind to be able to produce multiple colors in a single light strip. Makes absolutely beautiful scenes and you can “paint” your own scene onto the strip as well. Fell in love with it as soon as I set it up.

I really like this, the lights are easy to install and very easy to use, it's also great that there is no hub required and it's fully adjustable on my phone. I use to use those cheap lights that came with a tiny remote and can say the two are not in the same league. The pictures were taken at midday but at night it will change the entire colour of the room. Which is pretty cool. I have this and a few lightbulbs and not had those installation problems most people have not saying they didn't exist but maybe it's fixed. Definitely recommend getting.

These lights are very bright but they will not stay connected to my WiFi. The manual says they don’t require a hub (I’m using iOS) but when the lights are setup, they won’t stay connected to the Home app on iOS. It was suggested that I buy some type of hub, either an iPad or a HomePod. A little frustrating since the reason I bought these lights because they were the only ones that don’t require a hub. If you don’t mind not being able to use Siri with them, these light strips are perfect!

To start, lights are very over-priced. They have some good features & broad range of colors, but they constantly drop from wifi despite being well within range to the access point. The adhesive back does stick and re-stick if removed, but does also tend to fall here and there. Also, does not come with the extensions that allow you to put on a 90° angle, so if you're wrapping around the edges of a TV like I have, you kind of have to put a bend at the corners, but per the instructions, only between where the lights are on the strip, which is kind of crappy. Does work with Alexa when the wifi for the lights decides to work. Overall, the lights have great features and they look great. The app offers a number of cool effects, color wheel, etc. Biggest complaint is that the wifi is very flaky and drops off leaving me no choice but to climb behind TV to power off and back on again. It'll work for a few hours and then drop off again. Disappointing, especially considering the price.

I love my LIFX smart light strips. I own two of them. Once in my meditation room and the other in my kitchen. The provide the perfect look for each room. The app is easy to use and the lights are easy to set up. They also have funtionality to schedule events, lights colors and everything. I even have it set up to turn red when Dominos pizza is out for delivery

Lightstrip is easy to install. Clips between strips are easily managed. Colors are bright and Vivid. Can easily manage strips in the three sections. Price is a little expensive but worth every penny. Also the app that is so she ate with white is well-designed I'm very intuitive.

Easy to setup. Works without a hub. The lights can be painted on in sections of the light instead of one side color that changes intermittently like the Phillips Hue. Plus you get an extension included in the box exclusive to Best buy customers in the Z package.

After testing these strips against the Philips Hue, Sylvania, and various other ones ordered online, none of these compared to the brightness, controllability, and ease of use of the Z-Strips from Lifx. So many variations and options to fit your needs.

Very easy to set up, just make sure you follow the instructions and use the 2.4 wifi ad it will not work on 5. Expensive but you get what you pay for. Very user friendly App also.

I own hue light strips in my living room and LIFX in my office. My lifx led strip is a better bang for buck product. No hub is required to get going it’s much brighter and has multiple color options on a signal strip!! Yes multiple color options on 1 strip. This comes with 3 strips a meter each strip and very bright at 2100 Lumens. You also have built in effects like music visualizer and move to move the colors. Lastly you have themes you can customize and set for recall. It’s a awesome piece of tech. Must buy if you’re in to light strips and smart home tech.

Exactly what I was looking for for my room. Bought 4 boxes of these for the top of my wall and they light up my room really well. All the different themes and color options on the app are all amazing. Easy to use, easy to setup. Definitely would recommend! Only thing is the end where the lights attach to the adapter in the last pic, I put a Command Strip behind it because it was too heavy and I didn’t want it to fall down. Easy fix tho and something that wouldn’t deter me from buying. Have had them for a couple months and love them!

If you’re trying to decide between Philips Hue or LIFX and haven’t purchased any yet I’d so go LIFX hands down. These lights are much brighter and seem to have so many more colors. These lifestrips can dramatically change your room/setup I use them behind my desk for nice ambience glowing off the walls. They work with Apple/Google/Alexa and more and the voice commands work flawlessly with HomeKit and Siri. I am going to add more along with more lightbulbs!

The LIFX z is an awesome light to accent an area of the house. Ours is above our cabinets in the kitchen. They are bright enough we don't need to turn on our over head lights in most instances. The colors that this light strip produces are amazing and really set the mood. It is a perfect combination with Amazon Alexa, and is easily controlled by voice.

These lights are nothing short of amazing. Compared to a cheap set I’ve bought in the past, these things light up the whole room. I’ve got them setup behind my TV. My only complaint is that a quarter (2 zones) of the last strip where defective and would not address properly and they were flashing. I had to cut about 9 inches off the end of one strip and it now works perfectly.

I tired the cheap ones from Amazon.. they are a complete joke compared to these. The quality of the LIFX strips is evident in the construction and the quality of light. The LIFX app is nearly perfect for controlling the strips with color themes, a page dedicated to the various whites (perfect for bias lighting behind TV) and animation effects that really deliver that wow-factor. The only minor gripe is when controlling the time delay on the animation pages. They put the text below the slider and beneath your finger - the text needs to be moved above the slider. Do that, and it's perfect. It's was such a minor gripe .. I can't even take away a single star. Thank You LIFX and Best Buy for this great product. It wasn't cheap .. but Best Buy had the Best Price on the starter kit with THREE meters of lighting compared to only TWO you get from Amazon. One last tip.. find the reset button on the control block.. You will need to press this to reset the strip when you add extensions.

I used 3M outdoor command clips to put them around the back of my tv, easy to adjust no worries about the tape. I love that I can change different themes and zones of the lights I just wish there were more effects. I like the painting effect and being able to use the Lifx app from my apple watch. Hope to get more products from them.

This product was exactly what I was looking for and had much more functionality than I expected, easy peel and stick backing (3m tape). All I can say is that if you have a bigger tv make sure you are purchasing the larger length especially if you’re planning to run it across the top and down both sides.

These lights are great for your bedroom or living room tv and you can turn them on with Alexa or your smart phone. They change multiple colors and can have different color patterns as well and have them so bright they light up the entire room or just on a little do it’s easy on your eyes watching tv at night.

These strips are amazing, I’ve connected them to the rest of my home automation system for an accent fireplace wall and they looks great. Lots of colors but they also put a nice warm white tone. I got two packs, one for each side of the wall, you can make them work in sync through the app. Configuration was easy, only negative thing about them is the backing tape, it’s not as strong as I would want it to be but all other led strips I’ve tried have the same issue, I’ll be putting a few drops of loquid nails here an there to make sure they stay on the wall. Definitely worth the price.
