“Spectrum provides my modem. Assuming Spectrum supports this Linksys router do I need to contact Spectrum for some type of access code? Or can i just bring it home, pug in the power and connect it to the modem, then begin using it?”

• I don’t use Spectrum but I did need a code from my provider.

• Hi, JR927. Most of our routers are compatible with most cable internet connection types and providers. The router should work as long as there is an active connection from the modem and configured successfully.
