This router will work for any service provider that uses etthernet ( Cat 5E, Cat6, Cat 6E) to connect to the modem. If you use an RJ-45 connector from your modem to router, this will work.

Please try again later.It is compatible with Comcast, however the current router has a known bug for IPv6 (may impact Comcast service in some areas). 2 options: Downgrade the firmware of the router, or post on the Netgear Community Forums and they can provide you a newer fix. A bit troubling but currently the latest firmware on the Netgear webpage does NOT work with Comcast IPv6 connections. The latest versions are: 1.0.2.88 and 1.0.2.92 (hot fix). You need to install 1.0.2.8 or older firmware at the time of posting this message.
