The Linksys – AC1200 Dual Band Wi-Fi Router resolved my internet connection problems. Now my upload and download speeds are two to three times faster. With my previous router I was losing connection through my ethernet cable to my desk top computer every few minutes, however my Wi-Fi was still connected to my laptop. Since I changed to the Linksys AC1200, my connection issues are resolved and upload/download speeds are significantly faster. This router was very easy to install/set up. The security set up was very easy step by step on the computer. Wi-Fi coverage is great. My home is 3 levels, about 4,000 square feet, 5 bed rooms and I have full coverage; including Wi-Fi connection on my deck, patio and in much of my yard. I highly recommend this router.

My existing router had spotty coverage and very low bandwidth to the point that watching more than on video at the same time proved impossible. Selected this Linksys router based on its specs and other reviews. The router was simple to set up, provides great coverage and has good speed. We are now able to stream multiple videos and access the internet on multiple devices at the same time. Couldn’t be more pleased with its performance and was priced very reasonably.

Just subscribe for a spectrum internet service, turn out they send me just a modem without a wifi capability. This router saves my sanity for not having a wifi at the house. Its work good to deliver 400Mbps speed out of our 400Mbps internet service from spectrum. It has dual band 2.4 and 5Ghz. Have a decent range. It just work!

Works good. Was easy to setup, and was fast for the price. Only thing I recommend doing is downloading the app because they enabled the open guest networks by default. Had to shut them off. Overall a good product for the price

I have used Linksys routers for quite a while, and I've always like them. This one is no exception. Easy to set up, good UI to work with, very fast. and has exceptional range. I have one extender and a second router I turned into an access point. I seriously believe I could remove them both and work just off this device.

Made a huge difference in my internet speed. I had a router from my internet provider, which was not satisfactory. I listen to KFI radio, and Leo Laporte says the provided routers are used and outdated, no matter how they are packaged. He was right. As soon as I installed this product my internet speed doubled, and the reception in all areas of my house is way better. The set up was fairly easy. Just remember that when you switch your router, you have to sign in on all network devices.

Just don't fight the setup wizard

This is a pretty good router. I've used Linksys and Cisco routers for years so I thought I knew what I was getting into with this one. I was right with one main caveat, in that if you don't go through the regular setup wizard - at least initially - it will be really unhappy with you as you go about trying to get it working.
It sounds absurd, but it was what I ran in to. I initially tried to skip the wizard and go straight into setup and it locked itself into a weird state where it would be responsive for about 2 minutes and then shut down all its wireless signals, dropping systems that were connected to it. I factory reset it and went through the wizard and then all was well.
For those looking for this feature, you can do port forwarding on this router. I have a domain registered dynamically for my home domain and this router can be easily set up to handle that, but you have to pretend you know nothing and go through the wizard first. Sort of like making an Olympic skier start on the bunny hill simply because they don't have a season pass, but it seems to be the only way with this one.
Otherwise a very decent router for the price. Seems to meet the expected speeds.
Range is slightly less than my previous Linksys (EA4500) but the only devices I need to connect from beyond the range of this one don't need maximum speed so I bought a repeater for that and all is well.

The setup was fairly easy. I'm technical so it wasn't that difficult there was some problems getting the app to work and to get it to log into an Linksys account so you can look at the router and change the names of the Wi-Fi and the passwords things like that. It took about an hour and a half to get all the devices attached seems to work faster than the Netgear that it replaced. The Netgear did a firmware update and it died believe it or not.

Quite the value for apartment living. W/ the two channels I easily setup a gaming/streaming wifi and cellphone only wifi. I use Spectrum 400mgb/s and have noticed no issues.
Everything attached to the router:
Roomba, 2 Laptops, Smart TV, Roku, X-Box, 2 cellphones.

This is my first Linksys after having used Netgear routers for many years. I needed a router immediately for a new internet setup and this Linksys Router was ten dollars cheaper than the Netgear of the same class/grade/specs. So I decided to give it a try. This Linksys router works as advertised. The speed is good and the connection is generally reliable. The admin tools are easy to use and provide a simple view of all connected devices. I also like the Guest wifi options.
The only reason I gave it a four-star review instead of five is because I've experienced a couple times where the 5GHz connection seem to fail on both of my Mac book and iPad Air. I can't figure out why but a hard restart of the router fixed it. It's working fine now, but it's just annoying to have to restart the router when all of the other devices were connected and working fine.
