No need to plug into a switch. All it needs is power. Place it in where you dont get a good signal and connect it to your existing mesh router via the app. Thats all you need to do. Was super simple.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.We got rid of our Velop system and replaced it with the Orbi. Got sick of the dead spots. Had 2 Velop nodes and 2 extenders. Replaced it with 2 Orbi nodes and have had nothing but success so far.
