I would buy it from a bricks and mortar Best Buy to make return/exchange easier, if necessary. There are so many factors that will affect range (line of sight, walls, wood vs steel structure, other WiFi devices, etc.)

If you already have an existing Linksys router and would like add the Velop Mesh System, you may need to to set the Velop as the main router and set the existing one in bridge mode to utilize the Velop's full potential. This will enhance the Mesh network and for much more greater coverage.
