No it can only be used on the Lively network. I bought this for my sister who really needed a simple phone and it's totally worth it. She's very happy with it; says she LOVES it! The plan she's on is less than what she paid on another carrier and she'd been with them for 20+ years. Her plan with none of the urgent responses costs about $35.00 a month.
