• More than likely. I placed mine onto a Mophie brand case and it has a very strong hold. The phone doesn't slip even when going over rough roads.

• Without knowing the exact weight of the battery boost I would guess the magnet is strong enough to easily support that item

• I would certainly imagine it would in portrait position. You may see some slippage in landscape position on a bumpy road.

• I am unsure what a battery boost is? But I have a Samsung Note 4 with and extended battery and case, twice as thick as standard battery and back. The magnet easily holds the weight of my phone even over the bumpiest terrain I drive on with my truck off-road.
