QuestionDoes the magnetic piece that attaches to the phone get glued on? What if your phone is in a case? If it gets glued on, can you get additional pieces?

- Answer The magnetic pieces have a sticky backing, kind of like 3M adhesive and it's fairly strong. The product comes with 2 magnetic pieces that you can either attach to your phone or phone case. Hope this helps.

QuestionMounting device to dashWhen the device is mounted on the dash, how much a) curvature and b) irregularity of the surface can the suction cup handle without releasing, ie does the surface have to be really smooth?

- Answer The mount comes with a smooth round plate that has double sided tape to mount on dash. Then you use the suction cup on that piece. You do need a flat spot but it does not have to be completely smooth.

- Answer The magnet will not have an impact on the phone. iPhone uses flash memory, which is less susceptible to magnets.

- Answer When we got new phone cases, we would pry off the old metal pieces and just glue them onto the new case. We just kept doing this and I'm currently on case #3.

- Answer ...just peel off the old adhesive. It takes some work and it's a plan, but it comes off. Then go get some good 2 sided tape and you are all set. Worked for me

QuestionThe mount worked fine at the beginning but the yellow twist lock just spins real easy now and will not create a suction.

- Answer More than likely. I placed mine onto a Mophie brand case and it has a very strong hold. The phone doesn't slip even when going over rough roads.

QuestionIpod compatiable?Is this product okay to use with an iPod as well? I wasn't sure since there is a magnate attachment if it would ruin the iPod.

- Answer Yes, you can use it with any type of device like iPhone, iPod, etc. Super strong magnets are still potentially harmful to electronic devices, but the primary risk of magnets being harmful are to A) magnetic (spinning/traditional) hard drives and B) old CRT displays. Your iPod has solid state internal memory that won't be affected by magnets, and an LCD screen that also won't be affected.

QuestionHow do I open this?My cellphone mount is attached to the dashboard via the suction cup. I closed it and now I can't open it? I've tried prying with a screwdriver and it just won't budge.

- Answer Follow the directions exactly and turn the spindle in the correct direction it requires considerable Force. A screwdriver would be totally inappropriate. Use your thumb and index finger
