All USB 2.0 devices are compatible with 3.0 (blue) ports. However they will not utilize any performance advantage that 3.0 offers. Your existing 2.0 devices will work the same way no matter which port you use.

I've only been able to get the camera to work fully using 3.0+ ports (after installing latest firmware). On my new computer, I had to use a 3.1 port because the Windows Hello feature required more power although the built-in camera app for Windows 10 did work with just 3.0 ports. On my older AIO, a 3.0 port worked fine...even for Windows Hello. However, I don't think anything below a 3.0 port will work for this camera.
