Snaps in easily but I haven't had the need to remove the case. If I was to use it where just the iPad is in use (no keyboard) it lays flat on the keyboard on my lap. I find no need to remove it though I'm sure it would be easy to snap out. I prefer this case over the others offered but that is my opinion.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would say yes but the 12.9" is heavier. Much like a laptop really, or you can fold in a couple configurations to just use Ipad alone. There is a "keyboard" button on the keyboard so you can go back and fourth as you are using both, and several "ipad" keys including home button which the Apple offering doesn't offer across the top. On youtube several reviewers felt this made it much easier for lap,bed or desk use. I agree.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. It just snaps in and out of keyboard.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This case does not have to be removed from the iPad in order to use as iPad. You simply just fold the case underneath the tablet
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have not had any trouble taking the iPad out of the case or putting it back in. And when the iPad is in the case it feels secure and safe.
