i heard mixed things, some say yes it does, also, in order to increase decrease volume you have to do it in settings > devices > audio headphone and heatset > select the device > turn up/down

you cannot use the the volume rocker on the headset.

The virtual 7.1 only works on pc's with the logitech software installed. On PS4 you only get left and right audio.

Correct, the surround sound is not supported on the PS4.

It's also very low quality and sound, this should not be used for video game consoles.

Yes, the 7.1 surround sound is PC only. The software that comes with the headset or downloaded provides the drivers to do so. I do wish they considered that for the consoles too.

The settings for the surround sound may need to be changed manually through the audio settings, the only other thing I could think of is the surround sound in the head set may only be running the drivers from a pc set up!

I believe the 7.1 is pc only. You have to go through the logitech software to enable the feature.

yes the surround will work on ps4 of course it will sound best if the game is compatible but should work regardless
