It's a pretty swell headset. The surround sound really adds a layer of depth to the audio. Only real complaint would be the frame holding the headset together is very thin. It's hard to say now, but in the future it's hard to imagine it staying strong. Also the current version of the software doesn't have voice morph even though it's one of its key features. Find a lower version and you'll be label to morph your voice. Messing with my friends in a Skype call is always fun when I press one of the programmable buttons to change my voice's pitch.

These are great, looks, feel, comfort, sound (when working), and they have some cool features, IE programmable buttons, audio tweak software included . However they will intermittently lose sound and its a common problem, Google intermittent sound loss . They should recall them for a refund because you all know best buy has a terrible two week return policy!

It wouldn't charge, it wouldn't stay connected, the speakers weren't working, and the microphone wasn't working. Then, the USB drive fell apart. I paid way too much money for all of the problems that we have faced and only two months after purchasing this product.

Now, I should have done this ages ago- After killing my last pair of headphones (tangled pretty hardcore in my computer chair), I found myself searching for a new headset. I wanted something that didn't have a long wire to trip over, get tangled in, chew on, what-have-you, and since the wire was the part of the headset that gets so easily damaged, the part I Demolish, I figured it was time for a new one.
So, I finally broke down and bought a wireless headset... And I <3 it
*It's super noise cancely* Perfect for when you have family members asking you to do silly things in the middle of a dungeon run. If you can't hear them, they eventually go away.
*It's super comfy*
I've never owned a pair of headphones that I was able to keep on my head for excess of 6 hours at a time, it almost doesn't feel like I'm even wearing anything!
*It's got super-awesome buttons on the side*
On the left hand side of the headset are three "G" keys which you can bind to different things, I've got my push to talk and away functions on it so I can still hear people talking when I'm off to make food-stuffs in between runs.
*It's got a volume slider and multiple mute functions!*
Can't hear someone? Just slide the scroll up or down to adjust the volume! Forget to take the headset off during a bio-break? No worries, not only can you pull the mic upward into it's mute position, BUT, you can hit a special mute button on the side to be EXTRA cautious!
*It's all twisty-weird-like-and super-adjustable*
Perhaps you have a weird shaped head? Or maybe you like to game with your hair pulled up (me), the ear pieces pivot and swivel, AND there's two different band adjustments to fit your funky head or hairdo.
*I'm a no-lifer and play for hours! What ever should I do?*
-- Simple! This puppy has a 10 hour battery life, which is awesome, unless you're like me and online in excess of 16hr a day, in which case you'll have to play with it plugged in or let it sit for at least an hour to charge. (Perfect time for naps!)
*It's got a range*
I'm not sure how far it goes exactly, but I can cover my entire apartment with it and still hear the people and/or the game on the other end. Such a pity it won't make it all the way to the store.
All in all this somehow ended up like an advertisement, but that's ok, I really enjoy this headset. The only thing wrong with it is it can't do my laundry, or make food for me when I'm hungry... Sheesh, I mean, what's up with that? =P

I have had this headset for about 6 months and cant complain about to much. The ear pad foam was slightly firmer than I liked when I first bought it, They have softened up some but are still pretty firm. Battery life is decent and will last you a full night of gaming and even if it runs low you can charge it while you use it which is nice. Mic quality isnt quite as good as my other headset (turtle beach) but it isnt bad either. The sound is pretty good too. Structurally the headset is still in new condition!. I havent had anything break. The software it comes with is kind of usless other than if you want a visual of your current battery life or if you want to use the voice morphing software. The wireless transmitter dongle has worked great except for 1 times. For a few hours it was un responsive and would not connect with my computer. BUT that could have been do to my computer updating or something so I cant say that is a fault of the headset. Overall I would highly recommend this headset. Great headset for the price!

I bought this item a few months ago, and had no problems with it until last week. I was removing the headset and the plastic spacer/extender on the side with the microphone snapped in half, making the headset unusable without a temporary fix of duct tape. Spacer should have been made of METAL, like most decent headsets are. Pretty disgusted at how pathetic the quality of this item is.

This headset is very comfortable and seems much lighter than what I expected given how bulky this unit is. The initial setup was relatively painless. I was impressed by the quality of the sound and with the battery life. I have used the programmable gaming buttons and these have worked without issue. This headset also comes with features like auto mute when I move the mic to the full up position. Also having the volume control on my headset is more convenient than trying to use a combination of keys on my keyboard, especially when gaming. I have had some issues with the voice quality of this and with an issue of the headset constantly beeping. The voice quality seems to be an issue when using this with some VOIP applications, however when using the in game chats, this seems to work without issue. I was able to resolve the beeping issue by using the Logitech Gaming Software to disable the low battery alert. My favorite use for this is when I use my Windows tablet to stream my XBOX One. I use the wireless dongle to connect my controller to my tablet and with this setup, I am unable to use my Xbox One Headset. I was pleased to find out that I was able to use this headset instead and it worked great.

This headset is by far the best headset that logitech has made thus far! Supreme comfort meets advanced technology. I can walk from my computer to my garage (opposite side of the house) and it is still connected. They feel great, sounds great and they even have presets that you can use as hotkeys for your games and computer. No need to buy and waste AA and AAA batteries because this bad boy has a rechargeable battery built in. And at an amazing price for Best Buy??? This is a must buy for any gamer that needs a headset!

I purchased this on 2/20. The things that attracted it to me was the price, the fact it is over the ear and surround sound along with wireless.
Set up was easy, plug and play. It has a software that you download that gives you tutorials and some of the finer things you can do. Like voice modification modes. I used them in Mumble but my raid found them highly annoying. IT does give you battery life. I end up charging it after about 2.5 raids which are 4 hours apiece. You can charge while listening and it is not to bad.
On the charging note since it is micro usb it also can charge your phone or other USB charging devices. It charges phone's slower though.
The noise cancelling is awesome. I cannot hear my wife nag me when I start raiding. A warning you can very easily miss someone at your door or a phone call.
The surround sound works great. I do not have an ear that can pick up the nuances of surround sound though.
The mic moves up and down and can be bent closer to your face but I have not had any reason to move it closer, even when talking quietly.
The only problem is every once in a while it will disconnect from the plug in Dongle. It is rare but it happens. I know it's not the mumble service because all sound cuts out. It only lasts a few seconds and is intermittent. Since it is not consistent it is not in any way shape or form a deal breaker.
I gave it 4 stars because of the odd disconnect issues and the fact that the headphones are not reversible. So if you do not like you mic on the left side of your ear this will be an issue.
For the price though (I bought mine on sale) it is an unbeatable deal.

I love this headset. It is comfortable for me and has great sound. I love the range on it...I can go downstairs when i want to take a break from gaming to grab a snack, but I can still hear the conversation going on with my buddies. I would have given it 5 stars, but from time to time the sound cuts out for a few seconds, even with a recent charge. For how I use it normally (3-6 hours of gaming/videos each day) the battery lasts me around a day and a half or 2 days. Personally, I feel my voice sounds a little tinny through this microphone when compared to the G35 I have (which is wired), but it's not too terrible.

Got this for use at work. Comfortable, full over the ear wear for long periods. Nice sound. Did not realize it didn't have Bluetooth though, so I play music indirectly from my phone via Bluetooth to my desktop, then over wireless to the head phones. Occasionally get odd three beep tones which is not battery related. I think it has hiccup from phone connection which is not the fault oif the headphones. Seems to work better when playing sound originating on my desktop. Great price and somewhat of an impulse buy as I was with a friend who uses one for gaming and really likes it.

For $80 there was no competition with surround and it's wireless to boot. Charges fast, lasts longer than any gaming session or movie marathon I've put it through. The sound is good if not great for the price when compared to my Bose over ear headphones ($100). I've used the headset 3 times for voice in mumble and 1 of the 3 the mic would not unmute (push to talk). The light indicator on the mic stayed red. It could have been mumble but it was not a great feeling if the product is already failing.

Amazing sound quality, good range & decent battery life. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because I had a software update and lost my free voice changer that is, should I say was, included with my purchase. Also the update caused the headset to periodically disconnect even with a full charge. The dolby causes minor audio tearing. I wish I could tell you how customer service is but I haven't called them, yet.

This works great. Clarity, range, and comfort are a major part of this. Sound is crisp. You can walk away from the connected device and still hear everything very well. And it doesn't press so tight on your ears to cause pain. The only reason it's not 5 stars is that sometimes there is a hollowness to the sound if you are a bit too far away. Overall a really wonderful buy.

7.1 Works great with Razer Synapse Free D/L

First off I must say that using these with the free D/L of Razer Synapse will really utilize the 7.1 surround sound.(due to no support from Logitech to configure the 7.1 surround sound.) The battery will last for most of the day. Picked them up in june and it's now Nov. and I am starting to have two slight issues. Now even while hooked up to the mini USB charging cable/output I'll get a drop in sound as if it's searching for a connection. Also the mini USB plug falls out of the socket on the headphones at any movement stronger than a nod. (both problems are prob due to the mini USB port/plug making a connection) The voice morphing havent bothered. The mic I've only used a couple of times with out any issues. just remember that if you can lick the mic it's to close. I keep mine on the side of my head. Get a extended protection plan with this product.

Light and comfortable, good sound, wireless has good range (though it would switch channels and such when I go into the basement, 2 floors way from the transmitter).
Not as sturdy-feeling as I would like - not sure how well it will take a drop.
Overall I am pleased with its performance and price.

I wasn't sure I was going to like this to begin with, but after testing it out, I really do enjoy it. It does an excellent job at noise cancelling, and the mic boom has a nice red light feature that notifies you when it's muted, and it's also movable to be out of your way when not in use. The headset fits comfortably over your ears, so as to not squish them. Once you install the Logitech software, you can adjust the equalizer, and sound output for the 7.1 channels. It has amazing bass and quality for a headset. I was a bit astounded by that. It comes with a docking station for the dongle to plug into, and a cord that wraps into the dongle that you can unwind to hook to your computer. Also wrapped into the station is a cable that allows you to charge the headset, and even use it while it's charging. My only issue with it, is that the battery life doesn't seem to be as good as it states, but it's still sufficient, especially when you can plug it up while using it.

I got these headphones to replace my aging g35 wired headphones. They produce comparable sound and I no longer have to worry about getting the cord caught or tangled. One drawback is that the wireless version is a little less comfortable but still covers my ears entirely which is must if you wear glasses. They are also quite a bit heavier than the wired g35s which took a little getting used to. Another drawback is wireless interference. If you have lots of wireless devices the headphones will occasionally loose signal and you will have no sound for three to five seconds. I sit about three feet from the receiver too, not a deal breaker, but it can be annoying. The final drawback is the battery life. The battery usually lasts closer to five hours than the advertised ten for my usage and the charging cord can be difficult to plug in. Overall, drawbacks included, they are a great set of wireless headphones and I am happy with my purchase.
