Will this remote control a Bose sound system? I have a Panasonic tv, Direct tv, Playstation 2 and a Bose system. Will this remote increase/decrease sound so I won't hae to use the tiny one that came with it

I tried to do the same, and was not able to control the bose sound system. The bose system is not on IR, and this controller is ONLY IR, so you need to turn on IR on teh bose system for it to work (and then it should work) ... my bose remot was broken so I could not even change that setting.

The Bose sound system model number is needed to completely answer this question. However, this remote is compatible with Bose.
