If you turn on and turn off the CC feature frequently, you will need to go back into the My Harmony app on your computer and add this to one of the screens for the device providing the closed captioning. I.E. The Television, the Cable/Satellite Box or the Blu Ray Player. If this is just something you want to turn off and leave off, I would use the original remote for that device and be done with it.
