• Yes - I use my for Yamaha RX-V659 and RX-V671 receivers - works great.

• It worked on my Yamaha receiver. Should work fine as Logitech updates their device database quite often.

• Yes you can program the remote to the Yamaha receiver. You should be able to look up the Yamaha product number which will allow for the programing of the device.
