Absolutely, I have Comcast and use this remote with my Cable Box/DVR. It works about 100 times better than the useless piece of junk Comcast gives you.

Yes, it will as long as you supply the manufacturer name model of the cable/DVR box you have. There is no direct button to the DVR, as far as I can tell. I usually go to it through Menu, DVR.

Yes it will but you may have to enter it as the name of the device, in my case the device is from Cisco and that is how I entered it.
Mine works 100%.

Yes. You just need to have the model number of the dvr and add it to the device list on the harmony website and answer a few question prompts to add to the activity you wish to use it with.

This remote will work with Comcast. Personally I am not happy
with this remote. If you can overcome the size and sensitivity
of the buttons It could be a great remote.

I'm not sure. I have Verizon, and it works excellent with Verizon. I can't imagine why it wouldn't work with Comcast.
