A:AnswerIf the device your programming has a sleep button on the remote it came with then yes you can assign any of the buttons on the Logitech remote to sleep. If all your devices have the sleep function then you can assign a key to turn all off but this type of programming can be involved so when you hit one sleep button everything will sync together. . There are 4 color keys that you can assign if you like to use those as well. Example, I programmed the star key to use as a search button for the Fios cable box. There are many things you can setup so everything turns on or off in sequential order. If you run into a problem use the help section because it has a huge database related to different products that will really help if you have any issues. I own two of these remotes and I hope they continued making this particular model in the future.
I have tried many other remotes from low end to high end $400+ and I personally that this is the best remote you could buy that user-friendly and easy to hold in your hand.
A:AnswerYes, my son, it will work with the Nvidia Shield 2017 model by IR only. Just a heads up you will need to update the polling rate for the IR blaster to reduce the lag between commands. Happy controlling.
A:AnswerI was able to add Panasonic Viera TC-P60U50 (an example I found on Google) in the My Harmony Desktop Software. The next step is to sync it with the remote! Now, if you got to this stage then it almost always works. So it should work, at least in theory. I only have 2 Toshiba's and an Insignia TV, that's the reason I say "in theory". I would definitely recommend, my experience has been wonderful. Now all my other remotes (TV Remotes + Sony BDP, Bose Solo, Apple TV 4K & AT&T DVR) are in a box!
A:AnswerPersonally, the Logitech remote is NOT "the end all" for most equipment. The physical device is NOT all that simple to use. The enclosed documentation is NOT very good. I cannot with clear conscious RECOMMEND the device. I think it is a "expensive toy". NOT for a NOVICE. NOT even for an intermediate tech user. ONLY for the most advanced user. The online site is a little bit helpful. https://cdn-cx-images.dynamite.myharmony.com/mh/ssv2/usermanual/smartcontrol-usermanual-en.pdf?_ga=2.205363928.931146328.1538703725-917397687.1538416798. DO NOT rush out and buy the device UNLESS you have better than average knowledge of electronics.
A:AnswerMy DVD, cable box and Apple TV are in a wood cabinet with glass doors. I always keep the doors closed. I haven't had any trouble with the remote working with them.
A:AnswerYes I have this remote set to use both the PS3 and the Xbox One on my system. For any function that is not on the initial download you can teach the remote with the controller.
A:AnswerI'd be willing to bet it would. It worked on my Onkyo surround system, and it is over 10 years old, closer to 15! Matter of fact, I just looked it up, and yes it does!
