If the device your programming has a sleep button on the remote it came with then yes you can assign any of the buttons on the Logitech remote to sleep. If all your devices have the sleep function then you can assign a key to turn all off but this type of programming can be involved so when you hit one sleep button everything will sync together. . There are 4 color keys that you can assign if you like to use those as well. Example, I programmed the star key to use as a search button for the Fios cable box. There are many things you can setup so everything turns on or off in sequential order. If you run into a problem use the help section because it has a huge database related to different products that will really help if you have any issues. I own two of these remotes and I hope they continued making this particular model in the future. I have tried many other remotes from low end to high end $400+ and I personally that this is the best remote you could buy that user-friendly and easy to hold in your hand.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not really. I had to replace the 650 with the 665, and on the 650, I could add a sleep function without having to use the original Sony remote. If your original remote does not have a sleep button, which is my problem, then you cannot add sleep to one of the assignable functions like you could with the 650. Pretty aggravating to be honest.
